What problem it solves
A flat product image makes it hard to judge what a piece of wall art will feel like at home: whether it is too large, whether the placement works, or whether the image fits the wall.
AR real-space preview is meant to bring those questions into the real space earlier.
What you can understand before confirming
- the approximate proportion of the product on a wall;
- where the image sits;
- how different sizes change the feeling;
- how the frame, material, and image work together;
- whether you need to adjust the artwork or the product itself.
What exists today
We have validated real-world size and placement for wall art on iOS, and we are continuing to connect different designs, sizes, and materials reliably to real products.
AR is not simply putting an image on top of a camera view. It needs the image, product details, physical size, and placement to agree before the result is worth relying on.
Working together with product preview
2D product preview is useful for quickly comparing image, material, and framing. AR real-space preview is useful for understanding proportion and placement in the actual space. They should be based on the same confirmed design and product information rather than showing different results.
When AR is not suitable for the device, product, or specific design, the 2D product preview remains the more dependable way to inspect the result.
What we are still improving
We are continuing to bring more sizes, materials, and specific designs into real-space preview, while checking that preview, making files, and the final product continue to agree.
AR real-space preview is therefore a core Huachi experience that is still being improved. Whether it is available for a particular situation depends on the actual guidance in the app.
